James Justin Aker, 92
James Justin Aker, 92 of Kalispell, born Nov. 7, 1932, to James Foster and Lydia Violet (Hanson) Aker in Kalispell.
Jim completed grade school and high school in Kalispell, class of 1950, and attended Washington State College in Pullman, Washington. He worked as a telegrapher on the Great Northern railroad from 1951-1961. He then worked as a meat cutter until retired in 1993.
He was a Korean war veteran serving in Europe 1953-1954. He then was married in 1956 and had three children born to this union.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and his daughter, Karen.
He is survived by his two children, Robin Aaseby (Jeff) as well as his son, James M. Aker (Sonja); four grandchildren, Alexandra Dennis (Bryan), James P. Campo (Brianna), Vyktoria Rosser (Tyler) and James D. Aker; four great-grandchildren, Asher James Campo, Bodie James Dennis, Quincy Jean Dennis, and Callahan James Rosser.
A celebration of life for Jim will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and crematory in Kalispell.
