Stillwater boys best Helena Christian, drop a pair

Elijah Linn scored 19 points, Micah Strobel added 11 and Stillwater Christian opened its season with a 71-31 win over Helena Christian Friday.

Linn added 10 rebounds as the Cougars jumped out to a 51-13 lead at the half.

Taylsen Pond picked up three steals and three assists in the victory.

Saturday

Bonners Ferry boys 81, Stillwater Christian 47

BONNERS FERRY, Id. — Ryan Buzzard scored 18 points for the Cougars, who fell to Bonners Ferry Saturday.

Linn picked up 11 points for Stillwater Christian, who were outscored 24-9 in the first quarter.

Monday

Whitefish JV boys 71, Stillwater Christian 66

WHITEFISH — Micah Strobel scored 13 points for Stillwater Christian, but Whitefish rallied in the fourth quarter to pick up the win Monday.

Pond added 11 points for the Cougars, who led 53-46 after three quarters.
