Did Billy Madison pay Kalispell a visit? A passerby described a suspicious man heckling children at a bus stop near tennis courts to officers with the Kalispell Police Department.

Authorities were asked to help a woman find her lost half Persian, half Siamese cat. The owner said it mostly looked like a Siamese.

Caught in the act by store security personnel, a pair of alleged shoplifters cooperated until officers could arrive at the business. They both learned that they were no longer welcome at the store.

Walking into the Police Department lobby, a father wanted to know what he could do about his daughter's ex-partner showing up at a funeral.

A Meals on Wheels driver alerted authorities to an 81-year-old woman who was struggling to breathe.

Upset with a friend for allegedly talking behind her back, a woman asked the police if they could handle the matter.

Hoping to see a "creep" encouraged to leave the store, employees phoned the authorities. They described the man as possibly drunk or high and said he refused to depart when asked. He left before the officers arrived.

Translating on behalf of a cousin who did not speak English, a caller reported a possible fraud case to the police. A check that the victim cashed at a local bank later bounced, the relative said.

A sexual assault victim phoned the police wondering if investigators planned to follow up on her report.

Two women were taken into custody as part of a theft investigation.

A resident requested extra patrols at a parking lot after their security camera picked up a suspicious vehicle coming and going at all hours. The people inside the maroon SUV would park and then disappear on foot. They would later return with items in their hands. Officers added the location to the department's hot sheet.

When trash talk with a neighbor threatened to boil over, a landlord decided to alert the authorities. They said they rented out two properties and a neighbor had become upset with the placement of the trash cans associated with the units. The neighbor had threatened to call the police if the landlord did not agree to do as they asked. Officers deemed it likely a civil issue.
