Maidens, Lady Pirates win Tip-off games
FRENCHTOWN — The Western A Tip-off pitted the Northwest A girls basketball teams against the Southwest Friday, and Polson and Ronan were the lone winners from above I-90.
Polson beat Stevensville 56-16 while Ronan downed Hamilton 44-26.
Bigfork, coming off an appearance in the State A title game, fell to Dillon 39-37.

Rylee Taylor-Jefferson scored 13 points and teammate Ahri Rushing scored eight of her 10 points in the first half as the Pirates took a 39-6 lead.

Dwon 24-11 at halftime, the Bigfork Valkyries had a rally just fall short.
Braeden Gunlock scored eight of her 13 points in the third quarter as the Vals cut the gap to 32-24; Keni Wade hit two 3-pointers and scored all of her eight points in the fourth.
Paeten Gunlock also hit a three in the final period; she had 12 points.
