Lindsey Benov, Montana Women's Business Center program director, will present Ready, Set, Go! virtually on Dec. 18. The training is designed for individuals who would like to start a business. It provides an accelerated overview of things to know about start-up costs, financing options and business planning. Governor's Conference on Tourism

Registration is open for the Montana Department of Commerce's Governor's Conference on Tourism, which is an annual conference bringing over 350 tourism and business professionals together to educate, network and inspire one another. Whitefish Gone Fishin'

The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce's Gone Fishin' event is Dec. 19 at 5 p.m. at Whitefish Credit Union, 300 Baker Ave., Whitefish. The networking event is for business representatives to interact with each other, exchange information and develop professional and social contacts over food and drinks. 

Holiday Pitch

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is holding a contest for a Holiday Lemonade Stand open to Flathead County youth in grades kindergarten through eighth. Students create a pitch for a winter-themed lemonade stand for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card and cool swap for a teacher's classroom of their choice. The deadline to enter is Dec. 30.
