NO. 30856 NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION EVERGREEN ZONING DISTRICT The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice pursuant to Section 76-2-205(5), M.C.A., that it passed a resolution of intention (Resolution No. 797IU) on December 12, 2024, to change the zoning designation in a por¬tion of the Evergreen Zoning District located at 8 and 12 W. Cottonwood Drive near Kalispell, Montana from R-2 (One Family Limited Residential) to B-2/EEO (General Business/Evergreen Enterprise Overlay). For thirty (30) days after the first publication of this notice, the Board of Commissioners will receive written comment to the change proposed for a portion of the Evergreen Zoning District. Within 30 days after the expiration of the comment period, the Board of County Commissioners may in its discretion pass the resolution amending the Evergreen Zoning District. NO. 30868 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATION BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF MONTANA In re NorthWestern Energy’s Application for Automatic Rate Adjustment and Tracking for State and Local Taxes and Fees  Docket 2024.12.114 December 19, 2024 Notice of Application and Intervention Deadline 1. On December 16, 2024, NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy (“NorthWestern”) filed an Application for Automatic Rate Adjustment and Tracking for State and Local Taxes and Fees (“Application”) with the Montana Public Service Commission (“Commission”). NorthWestern’s proposed total electric rate change due to property taxes is an increase of $13,369,690. NorthWestern’s proposed total natural gas rate change due to property taxes is an increase of $7,772,921. For the typical residential customer using 750 kilowatt-hours of electricity per month, the total bill impact is an increase of approximately $2.11 per month or 2.21%. For the typical residential customer using 65 therms of natural gas per month, the total bill impact will be an increase of approximately $2.19 per month or 4.19%. By law, NorthWestern’s proposed rates will take effect on January 1, 2025, on an interim basis. 2. The Commission invites any interested party affected by NorthWestern’s filing to intervene in this docket. To intervene, a party must file a motion with the Commission no later than December 31, 2024. In order to afford due process: (1) data requests must be issued no later than January 10, 2025; (2) NorthWestern must respond to data requests within five business days of service (excluding weekends and holidays) or by January 17, 2025, whichever is earlier; (3) parties wishing to submit comments or request a hearing must do so no later than January 24, 2025; and (4) the Commission may hold a public hearing, if requested by an intervenor or upon its own action, at the Commission’s offices. If the Commission does not issue an order by January 30, 2025, the proposed rates will be considered approved. Mont. Code Ann. § 69-3-308(2)(c) to (d) (2023). 4. A party seeking intervention must file an electronic motion through the Commission’s website at reddi.mt.gov. All filings must be made in REDDI and hard copies are not required.
