Law Roundup: Stick shift blamed for traffic violation

A young driver who blew through a red light blamed it on his being new to using a manual transmission. The two cases of beer in the vehicle were definitely not his, he told officers. The brewskis were confiscated and the driver was warned for minor in possession.
