Kenedee Moore floater lifts Pack girls
BUTTE — Kenedee Moore hit a runner at the end of a coast-to-coast drive, beating the buzzer and lifting Glacier over Butte 36-34 in Western AA girls basketball Tuesday.
Moore, a junior, had pushed Glacier into a 34-28 lead with a basket with 1:35 left in the game, then a free throw a minute later.
Butte (7-8 overall, 4-7 in league games) drew even with two Cadence Graham 3-pointers, sandwiched around two missed Wolfpack free throws. But with 13 seconds left, Moore took the inbounds pass and delivered Glacier (5-9, 3-7) its second win over the Bulldogs in five days.
Tuesday’s game was a makeup of a game postponed on Jan. 12.
Moore finished with seven points; Karly Allen had a team-high nine off the bench and Charlotte Osler scored five of her eight points in the final quarter for the Pack.
Brityn Stewart had a game-high 12 points for Butte. Graham finished with 10.
Glacier’s next game is Friday at home against Helena High.
