Helena Capital cruises past Braves

HELENA — Kyler Meredith scored all 18 of his points in the first half, teammate Merek Mihelish added 21 and Helena Capital defeated Flathead 90-58 in Western AA boys basketball Friday.

Lyric Ersland scored 12 points to lead the Braves (0-15, 0-11 in Western AA games) and Korbin Eaton added 11, including three 3-pointers. Gabe Sims checked in with 10 points.

Dylan Almquist added 12 points for the Bruins (5-10, 5-6), all coming in the third quarter.
