End tuberculosis
As we head into winter’s cold and flu season, it’s important to remember that the world’s deadliest respiratory disease is sadly alive and well.
Tuberculosis is often thought of as a disease of the past, but TB killed 1.6 million in 2021.
When it comes to fighting disease, vigilance is required. That’s why Congress needs to pass the End TB Now Act as soon as possible. This bill would require the U.S. to prioritize TB resources to areas around the world most affected by the disease and set up a process and measures to track success. The longer we wait, the more people will die.
Covid-19 showed us that no country is immune from the spread of disease. But it also has shown us that when we work together, we can save lives. I urge our members of Congress, Sens. Jon Tester and Steve Daines, and Reps. Matt Rosendale and Ryan Zinke to quickly pass the End TB Now Act and get on track to finally ending this terrible disease.

Biden’s problems
In response to Ms. Wanda LaCroix of Missoula’s (where else!) recent “Doom and Gloom” letter, allow me to correct a few things. Namely the inflation, recession, immigration and crime she cites are indeed results of Democrat leadership, and it is important for the GOP to try and correct these things if only they could get the Democrats on board to help.
Solving immigration? It was solved until this current administration came into power and undid the policies that had been working. And “running away like Ted Cruz on a Cancun vacation”? Weird but interesting that President Joe Biden is in the Bahama’s right now on “working” vacation. I’m sure his family and entourage are thankful for the timing and location of this trip.
Currently dis-inflation is starting to finally come under control (yet prices on everything from eggs to milk to meat to gasoline to utilities are 40% higher than when Biden took office and have yet to come down). This is another weird coincidence that policies are changing during an election year and the last year of Biden’s presidency
The only way to stop the divisiveness, financial woes and lack of respect on the world stage that the Biden administration has brought upon the U.S. is to hold this administration accountable to the Constitution and then rally around the greatest president the world has seen certainly in our lifetime, and work for his re-election!
Ms. LaCroix, your “Dumb and Glum” is merely a result of a puppet getting elected in 2020.
