Crisis at the border

I’m disturbed and concerned about the invasion of illegal immigrants across our southern border. I’m not against legal immigration. After all, our country was founded by immigrants, but I do not support illegal immigration.  

We have laws which provide for and allow legal (but not illegal) immigration. So, why is the Biden administration permitting (and in many cases encouraging) illegal immigration?   

President Joe Biden and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas don’t get to pick and choose which laws they want to enforce. They are obligated to enforce the laws of our country, period, not just the ones they like.  

Moreover, it appears from some Fox News reports they may be encouraging illegal immigration by, for example, providing photo IDs, phones, prepaid credit cards, blankets, medical care, transportation to desired destinations, etc., all at taxpayer’s expense. 

If these assertions are correct, then why would the U.S. House of Representatives allow DHS to spend taxpayer’s money to facilitate and encourage illegal immigration?

In most cases, we know nothing about the illegal immigrants entering our country. Let’s be frank, our enemies (especially Iran and China) are likely taking full advantage of our open border policy. Why are we allowing this to happen?

Why aren’t Republicans in Congress doing everything in their power to stop illegal migrants from entering our country, including but not limited to the House impeaching Biden and Mayorkas for failing to enforce our laws as required under the Constitution?
