Robert E. Stephens, 82
Born Jan. 16, 1941, Robert "Bob" Eugene Stephens, 82, passed on Jan. 2, 2024, in Kalispell surrounded by his loving family.
He was born and raised in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High in 1959 and Montana State College in 1964.
He was the consummate family man and loved his life with his Wife Candy, children and grandchildren, and in February was expecting to meet his first great-grandchild. Additionally, Bob and Candy were blessed to celebrate 58 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Candy; sons, Gene (Lisa), and Gary (Renee); daughter, Gennifer (Scott); grandchildren, Lea (Trystin), Alyssa, Nicole, Carson, Camron (Emma), Victoria, Brandon and Melissa and soon to be great-granddaughter, little Lainey Jane Stephens. He is survived by five of his six siblings, Patricia, Harold, Sandy, Gini and John. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are being hosted by Buffalo Hill Funeral Home [https://www.buffalohillfh.com/obituaries/robert-stephens] where open casket visitation will be held from 9 a.m. - 10:45 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, with a service to follow from 11 a.m. - noon (attire: “Montana casual/MSU Bobcats) and a grave site burial at Conrad Cemetery from 12:45 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Reception to follow at the Kalispell Elks Lodge, 139 1st Ave. West.
If the measure of wealth is defined by love, admiration, family, friends, happiness and fulfillment, Bob could not have been a richer man.
It is the family’s hope that you can join us in celebrating this larger-than-life man. Bob would love nothing more than a big “party” filled with those he knew and loved.
