Thomas Snyder, 67

Thomas "Tom" Earl Snyder, 67 of Kalispell, passed away on Jan. 1, 2024, in Kalispell, Montana.

He was born on Feb. 17, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Victor Earl and Minnie Lou Snyder. He graduated in 1974 from El Dorado High School in Placentia, California. 

Tom served as a proud United States Marine from 1974 - 1995. He was a combat engineer and retired with the rank of Captain. 

Following his retirement from the Marine Corps, Tom was a deputy sheriff for Flathead County and coordinated the Search and Rescue Units for several years. 

He was also a Master Mason in Lodge #469 in Yorba Linda, California, and went on to be Master of Teikoku Lodge #19 in Okinawa, Japan. 

He leaves his loving wife, Atsuko; daughter, Nichole Jensen-Kramrey (Joe); grandson, Bradley Jensen (Berkeley); granddaughter, Kenzie Jensen; and his sister, Victoria Lindsay. 

Funeral services will be held at Aletheia Christian Fellowship Church at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024. Pastor Scott Keller will officiate.
