Quinn Colton Stewart, 12

| January 7, 2024 12:00 AM

On Jan. 1, 2024, our sweet boy was called home to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ. Quinn C. Stewart, 12, was born on March 28, 2011, in Bountiful, Utah. He arrived on this Earth with a heavy load to carry but overcame huge obstacles and grew into a wonderful young man. At six months of age, he and his family moved to Marion. He was a beautiful, happy baby with loads of curly hair, always smiling and trying to keep up with his big sister.

He attended Marion School and was homeschooled. He was looking forward to returning to Marion School this quarter. Quinn loved playing sports, especially football. While he wasn’t the biggest kid on the team, many coaches expressed that he was the kid with the biggest heart. He played Little Guy football for three years and played basketball for the Rotary League for five years.

He excelled at playing the piano. He had a natural ability to play by ear and was pretty amazing at picking up new songs to play at church. He loved gaming online, especially Fortnite. He had written and developed a new game and looked forward to becoming a millionaire with his talents. He was smart, funny, and had the most tender heart of all. He loved animals and was looking forward to helping his mom show dogs in the spring. He was really good at finding silly videos to watch and making his family and friends laugh. He never hesitated to help his loved ones, even if it meant pausing a game.

He knew Jesus Christ as his Savior and was a member of Marion Baptist Church, where he was active in the youth organization and played the piano on special occasions. He would want everyone to know that he is safe in the arms of Jesus now and that we will see him again.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Laurianne; and his sister, Maddie. Also, Kristie Stewart, Jamie Stewart, Casey Stewart, Ryan Carolan, and BriAnna Carolan of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandfather, Dale Stewart of Pleasant Grove, Utah; Chuck and Peggy Perkins of Kalispell, along with many cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Glenn and Bonnie Pratt, and Janet Stewart.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at Marion Baptist Church.
