Flathead falls short against Capital

Cole Dawes scored 21 points, Merek Mihelish added 11 and Capital defeated Flathead 61-52 in boys basketball Saturday.

Lyric Ersland scored 14 points to lead the Braves (0-7, 0-3 in conference) who trailed 36-25 at the half.

Jordan Griffin knocked down two 3-pointers and scored nine points for Flathead, who made eight triples as a team. The Bruins (3-4, 3-0) did not make a shot from behind the arc in their victory.
