Gulick leads Whitefish over Polson boys

POLSON — Whitefish’s Carson Gulick poured in 29 points, nine to spark a strong third quarter that pushed the Bulldogs past Polson 64-60 in Northwest A boys basketball Tuesday.

Gulick hit two 3-pointers and 12 field goals overall; his efforts helped Whitefish take a 49-43 lead going to the final frame.

Anthony Lichtenberg scored 22 points and Cason Graham had 17 for Polson. Both hit two threes, and they combined for 13 points in the fourth as the Pirates tried to rally.
