Gary Lee Palmer, 78

Gary Lee Palmer, 78, passed away Jan. 9, 2024, at Logan Health Medical Center. He was born to Helen and George Palmer on his father’s birthday March 9, 1945.

He worked hard and lived his life independently and on his own terms, instilling these values in his children and grandchildren. Gary loved the woods. He worked in them and camped and relaxed in them with his family and friends as often as possible. 

There was never a time with his children that there weren’t extra children along, no matter the activity. 

He is survived by his wife, Martha; children, Jeff, Howard, GR and Jennifer; 17 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two brothers and a sister; all are going to miss him. 

He goes to join, his parents, oldest brother, sons, Geno and Lucky; and granddaughter, Penny, to find the best ever huckleberry patch.
