Contra Dance Jan. 19

Contra Dance will be Friday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Whitefish Community Center.

No experience is needed. All dances are called and taught by Kathy Neff.

Live music with Grin and Bear It String band.

Cost is $10 or adults and $5 for students.

Concert raises funds for Columbia Falls choir trip

Columbia Falls Music teacher Emily Hackethorn is putting on a concert on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. at Columbia Falls High School with local pianist Jordan Neiman with special guests Tracy McDowell and Josh Forke.

This concert is a fundraiser for the CFHS Choirs upcoming trip to New York City to sing in Carnegie Hall.

Tickets are $5, and donations are appreciated.

The concert will feature music by Mozart, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Clara Schumann, Phillip Aaberg and Jason Robert Brown.
