Logan Jacobson, 15

| January 21, 2024 12:00 AM

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Logan Matthew Jacobson on Jan. 15, 2024, at the age of 15. Born and raised in Lolo, Logan filled our lives with love and laughter. Running, welding, and working at Lolo Creek Steakhouse filled his schedule of activities, while good friends, family, a love of all things outdoors and music rounded out his days.

Logan’s heart carried a deep empathy for others and a witty sense of humor — and his words ensured that you knew it. Logan was a friend to anyone who needed one, and he knew how to care for others. He was quick to smile, quick to laugh, and always worried about everyone else. As an old soul, Logan’s light burned bright, it filled any room he entered, and he made us all better. His energy and beautiful spirit will forever live in all who had the honor of knowing and encountering our sweet boy. We were all looking forward to spending our lives building memories with Logan.

Logan leaves behind his parents Douglas Jacobson and Amanda Jacobson; grandparents Donna Jacobson and Basil Jacobson, Dick and Linda Lodmell; aunts and uncles Matthew Jacobson (Christine), Jana Dorfman (Marc), Casey Lodmell Bishop (Adam), Dianalynn Cody, Cody Lodmell, Mark Lodmell, as well as loving cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at First United Methodist Church- Missoula (300 E. Main) on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family asks for donations to the Missoula Children’s Theater.
