Bengals down Bobcat women in Pocatello
POCATELLO, Idaho — Kacey Spink had 15 points, Tasia Jordan had a 14 point 10 rebound double-double and Idaho State beat Montana State 62-53 Monday night in Big Sky conference play.
The Bengals took a 35-24 lead into halftime and never looked back as they held onto a double-digit lead for most of the second half.
Madison Hall and Taylor Janssen shared the team-high in scoring for the Bobcats with 12 points apiece. Montana State (9-10, 3-3 in Big Sky games) came up with 16 steals, but was outrebounded 43-22.
Katelynn Limardo, the Bobcats’ second-leading rebounder who was injured late in MSU’s 64-55 win over in-state rival Montana Saturday, did not play.
Idaho State (8-10, 4-3 in Big Sky games) was dominant on the glass as they outrebounded Montana State 43 to 22.
Next up for the Lady Bobcats is a 7 p.m. tip-off against Sacramento State in Bozeman Thursday.
