A man reportedly gave an ex-girlfriend $1,100 to buy a truck she was supposed to deliver to a location but instead “ghosted” him. He told the Columbia Falls Police Department that he heard she ran the same scheme on others.

An extra patrol was requested by an unhappy parent whose 13-year-old was allegedly staying with his father but spending nights going to her house and lighting Roman candle fireworks by the windows.

A property manager was startled by a “blood-curdling scream” coming from an apartment where a man was heard yelling at a woman.

Someone needed to speak to the officer who was helping them locate the owners of a property with a water leak. The sound of water was getting louder, they said.

A man reportedly told officers he was walking in the road because the walking paths were covered in snow and “unwalkable.” He was given a ride to his destination, where he planned to shoot pool.

Blood reportedly seen all over the snow by a stuck vehicle turned out to be from a dog throwing up.

An officer counseled a resident on city ordinances after they allegedly were caught pushing the snow from their driveway into the street.

A man allegedly sleeping in his vehicle by a business told officers he was going to a doctor’s appointment at the location the next morning before heading to North Dakota.
