| January 28, 2024 12:00 AM

Carol S. Christensen, 82. Our wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother left us Jan. 23, 2024, for her heavenly home. She was born in Billings, on May 12, 1941, to Pearl and Frank DeVille. She was raised in Bearcreek. She attended primary education there, and then became a Belfry Bat in High School.

She loved her kids, grandkids and was thrilled to have the addition of great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader. She loved making peanut butter rice crispy treats for her grandkids and banana bread for all. She truly enjoyed family get together whether it was at Flathead Lake or her visits to Bearcreek. Spending time with family was of great importance to Carol.

Carol married Gardy Van Soest and had two sons, Jeff and Deron Van Soest. She later married Dave Christensen and added his children to their family. The two families blended well.

She worked as a legal secretary in Billings and Bozeman for many years. She and Dave moved from Bozeman to Kalispell where she worked for a CPA and law firm several years, retiring twice from the law firm. She enjoyed traveling around to visit family and friends. She joined her sister Beverly on a once in a lifetime trip to Australia to visit their cousin. They also had several fun trips to Arizona to family. She and Dave were very involved in their church and loved their bible study group.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dave; son's, Jeff, Deron (Anne) Van Soest; Ken (Thomas) Christensen, Kevin (Kris) Christensen and Kari (Joe) Domanski; grandchildren, Therese (Sean) Ehr, Zachary (Hailey) Van Soest, Dylan (Madison) Domanski and Wyatt Domanski; three great-grandchildren; brother's, Dick (LuDon) and Jerry (Trish) DeVille; sister, Beverly (Cy) Murfitt; and numerous nieces/nephew and their spouses; and great nephews.

Carol wishes are for no funeral service, a simple celebration of life for her family and close friends at a later warmer date. She requested that instead of flowers given in her memory, donations may be sent to the donor's choice. Friends are encouraged to visit the website www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory caring for the family
