Hellgate's hot start downs Braves
Missoula Hellgate hit Flathead’s floor firing Saturday, burying four 3-pointers in a 26-point first quarter that carried the Knights to a 70-49 Western AA boys basketball win.
Easton Sant had 15 points, 12 by halftime when the Knights (10-1 overall, 7-0 in the Western AA) led 43-18. He hit both his 3-pointers in the first half as well.
Chance McNulty and Zane Gillhouse added 14 points each for Hellgate; McNulty had two of his team’s seven threes.
Flathead (0-10, 0-6 in league) stayed even with Hellgate over the final three quarters in large part because of Jordan Griffin, who had 30 points including two 3-pointers.
