Boys Hoops: Vikings roll past Pirates
POLSON — Eli Thorness scored 19 points, 10 coming in the second quarter while Bigfork opened up a big lead on the way to a 61-41 Northwest A boys basketball win Tuesday over Polson.
Asher Knopik added 16 points for the Vikings (7-8 overall, 5-4 in the Northwest A); he and Cole Knopik hit two 3-pointers each while Bigfork drilled eight as a team.
Carson Graham’s 12 points led the Pirates (2-12, 1-7).

EUREKA — Braden Casazza and Tristan Butts each scored 22 points as Eureka cruised to an 81-36 victory over Troy in District 7B boys basketball Tuesday.
Parker Bates knocked down two 3-pointers and scored 10 points for the Lions (10-2, 6-0 in district 7B games), who opened up a 39-22 halftime lead.
Carson Orr led the way for the Trojans (4-9, 0-6) with 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
