| July 4, 2024 12:00 AM

For over two decades, Symphony Night at Rebecca Farm has been a cherished summer tradition in the Flathead Valley, drawing music enthusiasts. Set against the backdrop of Montana's majestic Big Sky State, this year's event promises an enchanting evening under the stars on July 5 and 6.

The Glacier Symphony will showcase a diverse repertoire of popular, patriotic, and well-known symphonic pieces, starting at 7:30 p.m. each night. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., allowing concert-goers to settle in with their blankets, chairs, and picnic baskets to enjoy the beautiful grounds at Rebecca Farm.

The program includes beloved classics such as "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "America the Beautiful," alongside energetic marches like "National Emblem" and "American Salute." Following intermission selections include the theme song from "The Wild Wild West" and the lively "Hoe-Down" from Aaron Copland’s Rodeo.  Attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid a surcharge at the gate. Children 6 and under can attend for free, while tickets for ages 7-18 are $15 and adult tickets are $30. Picnic tables have already sold out, but plenty of food vendors will be on-site offering a variety of delicious options.

For those needing ADA parking, transportation will be provided, though general admission parking is limited. Organizers emphasize planning ahead for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
