Glacier Twins pick up walk-off win in Medical Lake

MEDICAL LAKE, Wash — West Amerman hit a walk-off RBI single as the Glacier Twins picked up a 2-1 win over the Parkland Twins at their tournament in Medical Lake. 

After five scoreless innings, Parkland broke the deadlock as Easton Kitura hit an RBI single. 

Glacier’s Michael Miller tied it up in the bottom half of the sixth on a sacrifice fly, setting up Amerman to be the hero in the seventh. 

Kellen Kroger started the game on the mound for Glacier, going five plus innings and allowing one run on three hits. He fanned four. 

Amerman closed out the game, throwing two innings of no-hit baseball. 

Braeden Vogstadt started for Parkland, allowing no runs on four hits in five innings of work. 

The tournament continues for Glacier on Friday with a pair of games against Pendelton Hodgen 17u at 10 a.m. and Crew 18u at 3 p.m.
