Annual Arts in the Park this weekend in Kalispell
Featuring more than 80 artists, the 54th annual Arts in the Park happens this weekend in Depot Park in downtown Kalispell.
The Hockaday Museum of Art’s annual event includes artists, art for sale, live music, food trucks, family activities and a beer and wine garden featuring Bias Brewing and Montavino Winery.
Watch the Plein Air Painters of the Flathead paint live throughout the park in a new addition to festival events. There will also be painting activities for children. Ponderosa Pottery, The Making Place, STEAM Alliance and Big Brothers Big Sisters will offer art and nature activities.
The arts festival runs July 12 through 14. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 12 and July 13 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 14.
A general admission day pass is $5 and includes free admission to the Hockaday for the weekend. Children 12 and under are free. A $9 three-day pass button includes free admission to the Hockaday for the rest of July, entry into a “split the pot” raffle and $1 off at the beer and wine garden. The event is dog-friendly. All admission proceeds benefit the Hockaday’s educational mission and programs.
