Wolfpack’s Winters commits to Montana State
Ben Winters, a 300-pound All-State offensive tackle for the Glacier Wolfpack, announced Monday that he’s committed to play football at Montana State University.
Winters, who will be a senior this fall for the Pack, announced his decision via Twitter/X. “Committed!!!!! Go Cats!!!!!” he wrote; on June 18 on the same platform he noted an official visit to the Bozeman campus.
The 6-foot-4 Winters has been a first-team All-Western AA Conference pick the past two seasons at Glacier, and was first-team All-State in 2023 after the Wolfpack advanced to the State AA championship, a loss at Bozeman High. He was second-team All-State as a sophomore in 2021.
Winters attended the University of Utah football camp in June, and visited both Montana State and Montana in April.
