Want to learn how arrowheads are made, see logs turned into lumber, or watch craftsmen turn molten glass and leather into art?

See it all in Polson at the Miracle of America Museum during Live History Days July 20 and 21 where skilled craftsmen will take part in live demonstrations to show how “things were made in the old days.”

Visitors will find lots to see on the museum’s four acres where more than 40 buildings provide a glimpse into the past while providing plenty of room for families to explore.

The many kid-friendly exhibits will be enhanced with chances to sit in the cockpit of a jet, ride in an antique vehicle and park train. Families can get photos taken with a minion, an alien, or inside a UFO. And back by popular request, the Western Montana Vintage Snowmobile Enthusiast group will be on-site demonstrating vintage sleds on display.

Admission is $5 for children ages 2 through 12 and $10 for adults. Children 2 and under are admitted for free. All rides during Live History Days are included in the admission price, but tips and cash donations are welcome since the event serves as an annual fundraiser for the museum.

The museum, located at 36094 Memory Lane in Polson, is open daily from 9 am to 5 p.m.
