Heritage Days this weekend in Columbia Falls
Heritage Days is coming up next week in Columbia Falls, and there will be a host of community events.
The annual celebration features a host of class reunions, a car show, concerts, a rodeo, O-Mok-See, a parade and a golf tournament just to name a few. This year’s theme for the parade is “The Best Of Times.”
Here’s the complete lineup of sanctioned events:
Wednesday, July 24
5 p.m. to 9 p.m. – 15th Annual Car Show at Marantette Park sponsored by the American Legion.
Thursday, July 25
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Columbia Falls Community Market at 165 Veterans Drive.
7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. – Lion’s Club Concert - Flathead Valley Community Band at Marantette Park.
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Free open swim at Pinewood Park. Adults and kids up to age 12; 8:15 to 9:30 p.m. adults and kids 13 and over.
7 p.m. Rodeo at the Blue Moon.
Friday, July 26
9 a.m. until... Coffee with Columbia Falls Historical Society at the Museum off Nucleus Avenue.
5:30 p.m. -til Wildcat Athletic Endowment Fun auction and fundraiser at Marantette Park. Featuring a barbecue and live and silent auction.
Saturday, July 27
7 a.m. - Firemen’s Breakfast at Don Anderson Fire Hall, 624 1st Ave. West.
8 a.m. Annual Boogie to the Bank 5K and 10K races.
9 a.m. to noon Pickleball at Columbus Park
10 a.m. to noon Ice cream social at North Valley Senior Center with High Stepper Dancers at 11 a.m.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nervous Novice O-Mok-See, at Rocky Mountain Saddle Club, Highway 2.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors at Marantette Park.
10:30 a.m. Hugs rock painting at the Hub
4:30 p.m. Cornhole Tourney at Marantette Park. Sign up onsite.
Noon – Parade down Nucleus Avenue. Participants should line up at 11 a.m.
Sunday, July 28
7 a.m. Wildcat Athletic Endowment Golf Tournament at Glacier View Golf Course in West Glacier.
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Farmer’s Market on Nucleus Avenue.
10 a.m. O-Mok-See continues.
