Rock band Dawes set to perform in April
Tickets to see California rock band Dawes on their Oh Brother tour in April are on sale now.
The concert is set for April 25, 2025, at the Wachholz College Center in Kalispell.
For the first time in almost a decade, brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith grace the cover of a Dawes record. It’s just the two of them this time, and as such, Oh Brother marks a distinctive new chapter — one that is both introspective and accessible, all while maintaining their beloved sense of sincerity. The new album comes out Oct. 11.
Oh Brother steers Dawes forward while honoring 15 years of the duo’s musical relationship. Each of the nine songs began with just Taylor on guitar and vocals and Griffin on drums. They initially tracked each one live together, before adding additional instrumentation and collaborating with touring guitarist Trevor Menear in the studio. Additionally, Oh Brother is the first record the brothers co-produced, working alongside longtime friend Mike Viola.
Ticket prices range from $44 to $71.50 with fees included. Tickets may be purchased online at wccmt.org or by calling 756-1400.
