Timothy Holsapple, 77

| July 26, 2024 12:00 AM

Tim Holsapple, 77 of Alta Loma, California, passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2024, from complications of lung cancer.

He was born June 20, 1947, in Kalispell, to Lillian (Thompson) and Maurice "Hap" Holsapple. He graduated from Flathead High School in 1965 and attended the University of Montana in Missoula for one year and then enlisted into the Army in September of 1967 and served in Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army he purchased ABC Fire from his father where he worked until 1979 when he sold the business. He was an active member of the Evergreen Lions Club and served as President from 1975-1976. His love of cars and trucks (mostly Fords and some Chevys from the 50’s and 60’s) was evident by his side hobby of buying and selling them and even keeping some for his own personal use.

In April of 1979, he married Donna Enevold and they moved to Eugene, Oregon, where he worked for National Fire Fighter Corporation. In January of 1985 Donna and Tim were blessed with the birth of their son, Jeff. He then got a job in Southern California working for Amerex Corporation and so another move began in December of 1985. He was his own bone marrow donor and survived Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2005. He retired from Amerex in July 2009.

He was preceded in death by his parents, all his aunts and uncles, a few cousins, and many beloved cats and dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Donna at the family home; his son Jeff and wife Isabell and two granddaughters, Emily and Mia all from Alta Loma; his sister-in-law, Jan Hartman, of Kalispell; numerous cousins; his foreign exchange son, Tobi and fiancee Nina and their two children, Nico and Sophia of Germany; and his two favorite cats, Roxie and Scooby.

Private services are pending and cremation will take place under the direction of National Cremation Service of Riverside, California.
