Someone reportedly called 911 because their brother was “being mean,” and refusing to leave the location. The caller thought their brother was downstairs with their mother and wanted to check but was advised by dispatch to stay put in the apartment and lock the door. The caller did not answer the door to responding officers or pick up the phone.

Kalispell Police Department reportedly received an anonymous tip that there were severed body parts wrapped in a bloody sweater on top of the mall. Officers walked the perimeter of the roof and did not find anything suspicious.

A woman allegedly had questions about laws regarding going to a business with a sign stating her opinion.

A man opted to wear a fedora, red shirt and black vest to go on a shoplifting trip and reportedly stole LED bulbs early in the day and returned to steal an LED bar. He also allegedly stole a hat and something else that were all on display on the street corner.

A store manager complained that a white Toyota Sequoia had parked in a spot reserved for law enforcement and was left running “all day.”

A 30-year-old man who reportedly looked rough was walking down the street “screaming at the top of his lungs.” He was amenable to using his indoor voice.

Someone allegedly thought several neighbors were behind unauthorized charges on her credit card. When an officer spoke with her, she requested a case report number for her credit card company to authorize a charge-back on the credit card with the allegedly fraudulent charges.

A man allegedly had a photo of someone squatting in his empty house.

A woman was perplexed after reportedly finding a fire extinguisher and a mini propane tank in front of her door and wondered if there was something she needed to worry about.
