Cindy Drake, 66

Cindy "Cynthia" Drake, 66, passed away on July 17, 2024. She was born in Michigan on April 2, 1958, to Storm and Jay Waterbury.

She graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1976. She later met her husband, Dave Drake, and they had three children: son, Christopher and daughters, Laci and Desiree.

She enjoyed working with the forest service, going to lookouts, and spotting fires. She also worked at Kalispell Regional Hospital for many years. Her last job was a catering business in Whitefish she ran with her best friend, Louise Gulick.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was very involved with them. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, crafting, and also helped with 4-H for many years.

Her parents and son went before her, along with many other family members.

She leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Dave Drake; her beloved dogs, Copper and Rascal; her daughters, Laci (Eric) Burk and Desiree (Drew) Perkins; four grandchildren, Drake Burk, Brycen Burk, Kashton Perkins and Oakleigh Perkins; sisters, Tawny Sheard and Tammy Anderson; brother, Rocky Waterbury; numerous nieces and nephews; her favorite aunt, Kathy (Jack) Kerr; and family in Washington.

At Cindy’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service.
