A neighbor’s pit bull reportedly bit a 5-year-old’s stomach, leaving a bleeding wound about the size of a baseball.

Two men on the roof of a motor home allegedly were “yelling at the neighborhood” and using obscenities. Kalispell Police Department officers separated the pair and the motorhome left the area.

A man wearing black leather allegedly deployed bear spray into a man’s face in a parking lot who began having difficulty breathing. He was taken to jail.

A man lying in the grass next to playground equipment allegedly had his hands down his pants, which officers didn’t observe when they arrived at the scene. He said he was just resting but would move along if people were uncomfortable with his presence.

Meanwhile, in another part of town, a woman said she felt uncomfortable by three allegedly “scary-looking” people who parked a vehicle near a roundabout and walked toward an apartment building. She said the two men and one woman were dirty and wet and she was unsure which apartment they walked into.

A bearded transient yelling in a parking lot reportedly urinated between dumpsters and walked around a complex. Officers counseled him about his behavior and added a note of caution to their system that he made statements of suicide by cop, saying he was going to try and “take us with him.”

A drunk woman allegedly went to the emergency room and then ditched the facility with an IV still attached to her arm. Medical personnel called the police saying she had a history of IV drug use and needed to return to have it removed.

Two kids allegedly yelled at a homeless man next to a church and climbed up onto the roof. Someone called the police fearing they were there to beat up homeless people thinking they had a bat but it was the man who had the bat.

Someone reportedly called 911 upset after a friend relayed information to them that a white SUV was parked in a handicapped designated space at the building they rented for their business and were using power from the building. Dispatch counseled them on using 911 for emergencies. Officers also advised the people they were trespassing.

A dog chained outside allegedly barked on and off for over five hours.

An employee allegedly hung out in his hotel room drinking and missing four days of work. HE became belligerent when his supervisor confronted him about it and screamed threats. His supervisor fired him and wanted him removed from the hotel room the company paid for. Both were counseled to stay separated for the night. The supervisor left the state the next day.

A woman reportedly saw a posting about a missing girl and told officers her son picked her up from the mall and dropped her off at another store where she got into a red 4Runner. She said he didn’t know she was missing when they hung out.
