Braiden Louis Craver, 16

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Braiden Louis Craver, who was taken from us too soon on June 12, 2024, at the tender age of 16.

Braiden was born in Bellingham, Washington on Feb. 28, 2008. He spent his childhood exploring the Pacific Northwest camping, hunting and fishing. In middle school, his family moved to Lakeside where he attended Somers Middle School and Flathead High School. He was quickly and warmly welcomed into the community where he built many friendships and touched so many lives. 

Braiden loved everything about the outdoors. He found peace and comfort in the mountains. Braiden was a season pass holder at Blacktail Mountain Resort and spent every winter weekend with his friends snowboarding. In the summer he was hiking or driving in the mountains every chance he got. He loved boating on Flathead Lake and finding places to watch the sunset. Braiden loved deer, bear and grouse hunting. He had just begun to venture out by himself. He recently took his first camping trip with his friends to Thompson Lake. This trip created so many memories for him and his friends.

Braiden loved cars and motorcycles. He was a regular attendee at county car meets and absolutely loved being a part of the Friday night cruises in Kalispell. The tires of his blue Dodge Dakota left their mark on the streets of Kalispell. He loved to learn how to work on and fix vehicles and had plans of becoming a mechanic.

Braiden was fearless and always up for an adventure. He loved to make people laugh. He loved his friends and family fiercely. His memory will live on in the hearts and memories of all of the people who he touched during his short time on this Earth.

Braiden is survived by his dad and mom (Adam and Danielle Craver), his brother (Corbin Craver) and many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

A celebration of life will be held for Braiden at Volunteer Park in Lakeside on June 21, 2024, at 2 p.m. In honor of Braiden, this will be a joyful gathering and an opportunity to share our memories of this amazing young man.
