Law roundup: Driver taunts, threatens to wreck vehicles
Someone allegedly tried to crash into a woman’s vehicle, taunting them by pointing, laughing and dancing, threatening to “wreck them both,” if she didn’t pull over.
An infant and toddler were reportedly left unsupervised in a running truck with the windows up and the doors unlocked. Kalispell Police Department ticketed and released the parents.
A man allegedly made the area of a store’s lawn and garden department that extended into the parking lot home sweet home when a manager found him and all his belongings scattered around the bushes. The manager told officers he had previously told the man he could not stay there. Officers advised the man of his warrants and kicked him off the property.
A woman allegedly called the police concerned about a neighbor with a bloody elbow because she heard a loud thump at their residence that sounded like someone had been thrown or fallen. She said there was also a smashed-in window.
A woman with a child reportedly parked a white truck by a resident’s house who called officers wanting them to find out why she was parked there because she reportedly parked there often for several hours at a time and there had been a lot of suspicious activity in the area.
A woman’s stepfather allegedly wrapped his hands around her throat.
A scared woman allegedly called the police because she thought she heard someone in her bathroom and said she hadn’t locked her door the previous night before going to bed. She called back and said she didn’t need officers to respond because she was probably “just scaring herself.”
A man in a wheelchair was reportedly hanging out near the roadway and a manager wanted him moved off the property.
