NO. 30447 AUTHORIZATION TO PUBLISH REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT (PER) UPDATE The Foys Lakeside Estates Water and Sewer District, FLEWD (public water system #MT0004150) is requesting a Statement for Qualifications (RFQ) from firms interested in providing an updated completed preliminary engineering report (PER) pursuant to the requirements and in accordance with MCA 18-8-204. The existing PER from 2014 (digital copies can be supplied) was used to address the replacement of leaking water lines. The project was designed to be implemented in two phases. Work in phase one was completed, however, phase two was not completed due to project funding being removed from the governor’s budget. The PER update will be used to secure funding to design, construct, repair the existing water mains not replaced in the 2015 project. In addition, address recurrent electrical outages, assess the options faced with aging system pressure tanks and address flow rate exceedance of our water right cited in our sanitary survey.
