Logan Stewart hit two inside-the-park home runs, Ashtyn Mintz hit another and the Badrock Baseball U15 squad scored a 17-5 win over the Libby B Loggers Thursday at the inaugural Badrock Invitational baseball tournament at Glacier Bank Park.
In one of four games played Thursday, Badrock prevailed thanks in large part to crooked numbers in the third and fifth innings. Mintz led off a nine-run fifth inning with his homer, and Stewart’s second round-tripper scored the last two runs of the frame.
Badrock scored six times in the third, getting a two-run single from Luke Dalen and also an RBI single from Mintz and a two-run homer from Stewart, to lead 7-0.
