Carol Lynn Hogan, 74

Carol Lynn Hogan, 74 of Kalispell, passed away on June 14, 2024, with her husband beside her, and is in the arms of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

She was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, May 5, 1950, to her parents Rosella and Norbert Eisenbart, she was the fourth of five children.

Carol met her husband Leonard in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, while working together, their marriage lasted 51 years

They moved to the Kalispell area in 1976 and raised their two kids Michael and Michelle on Lori Lake Road where she helped build the house and home.

She loved gardening, and reading biographies of pioneers and turn-of-the-century women; she was crafty, cross-stitching, sewing, and crocheting. She liked to collect old bottles jars, tins, bowls, and doing puzzles.

Carol was a member at Stillwater Free Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday school and was a deaconess. She helped with the community kitchen and WMF. She worked in a few manufacturing places, did housekeeping, and retired from Kalispell Regional Medical. 

She was preceded in death by her parent’s oldest sister, Alberta Hill; her older brother, Joe Eisenbart; and son, Michael Hogan.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard; her daughter, Michelle Turner; sisters, Beverly Larson and Jackie Smith; two grandchildren, Jamie and Whitney Kemp; and three great-grandchildren, Drake, Paisley and Henry.

A celebration of Carol's life will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, at Stillwater Free Lutheran Church with a luncheon to follow.
