Open house on Main Street Safety Action Plan

The city of Kalispell, in partnership with Kittelson and Associates Inc., has launched the Main Street Safety Action Plan, a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing safety along the U.S. 93/Main Street corridor in downtown Kalispell.

This initiative was made possible through a U.S. Department of Transportation Safe Streets and Roads for All Planning Grant.

The Main Street Safety Action Plan will develop strategies and projects to prevent fatalities and serious injuries along the Main Street corridor and the surrounding area. The plan's outcomes will be crucial in informing future design concepts that will foster a safer and more accessible downtown environment.

As part of the planning process, the city of Kalispell will hold an open house on Tuesday, March 5 from 5-7 p.m. at City Hall. Attendees can expect to learn more about the Main Street Safety Action Plan, provide feedback on proposed strategies, and engage in meaningful discussions with project representatives.
