Mary Jane 'Janie' Camacho, 79

Mary Jane “Janie” (Huls) Camacho, 79, passed away on Feb. 16, 2024.

She was born to Roscoe and Evelyn Huls in Colcord, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of two daughters. She married Charlie Camacho on August 31, 1974, in Angels Camp, California. Charlie filled her life with love and adventure. They blended five children together and spent many days water skiing and attending sporting events with the kids. She loved watching sports. An avid San Francisco 49er’s fan and she became a die hard Gonzaga Bulldog fan.

Janie’s first job was at a telephone company and over the years settled in her career as a service rep for PG&E for 20 years where she retired. She and Charlie traveled often after retiring and made their home in Montana in the mid-90s. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and entertaining when friends would come to visit Montana.

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by her husband, Charlie; son, John Loomis, his wife Melissa, and son, Ron Loomis. Leah Whitear, Cathy and Bob Foppiano, Chuck and Michelle Camacho; grandchildren, Tyler, Kellie, Peyton, Andrea and Mitchell in California, and Taylor, Madison, Blayke and Hailey in Montana.

To honor Janie’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to please privately celebrate Janie’s memory in your own ways. We know that she will be with us all in spirit.
