OGDEN, Utah — Marah Dykstra scored 20 points and Montana State held off a late Weber State charge to win 67-65 in Big Sky women’s basketball Monday.
A Dykstra layup and-one put the Bobcats (16-15, 10-8 in Big Sky Conference games) up 65-50 with six minutes to go, before the WIldcats (7-24, 4-14 BSC) rallied with 11 straight points to cut the deficit to 65-61. Natalie Picton’s layup with 30 seconds left proved the difference as Montana State wrapped up the season fifth in the Big Sky standings.
The trio of Laura Taylor, Kendra Parra, and Taylor Smith led Weber State with 12 points apiece. Daryn Hickok added 10 points.
