FYAP Espresso Yourself

The Flathead Area Young Professionals meets March 14, 8 a.m. at the chamber, 2 S. Main Street, upstairs board room. Gerri King will dispel myths associated with effective leadership and provide common sense approaches that encourage high morale and productivity in the workplace. FYAP is open to all young professionals ages 21-39 and is free to Kalispell Chamber of Commerce members and their employees. 


Retiree Workforce Brunch

My Glacier Village is holding a Retiree Workforce Brunch, March 20 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 540 S. Main St., Kalispell. 

Seniors and retirees who are interested in learning more about return-to-work opportunities are encouraged to attend this free event where coffee and pastries will be served as attendees learn about a variety of available jobs in the Flathead.

Bigfork Job Fair

The Bigfork Chamber of Commerce and Bigfork High School host the Bigfork Job Fair is March 20 at the high school, 600 Commerce St. Students are invited to attend from 1-3 p.m.; encore and retiree job seekers from 3:30-4:30 p.m.; 4:30-5 p.m. open to the public.

A presentation called Maximizing Business Potential: Aligning Growth Planning with Exit Strategies is for business owners navigating the dual objectives of scaling their operations and preparing for an eventual exit. De-escalation training

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce holds de-escalation training for businesses on March 20 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the chamber, 2 S. Main St., in the upstairs board room. The training with experts gives front-line and management personnel the confidence and tools to de-escalate uncomfortable situations and have resources on hand to assist those when needs arise.
