A resident purportedly complained about a tall man hanging around outside their house on multiple occasions. They said he wasn’t doing anything wrong but gave them “the willies.” The man reportedly told them he was waiting for his child to get out of school yet the leery resident didn’t like that he was purportedly out there waiting “so early.”

Kalispell Police Department officers pulled over a black Toyota Tundra with a placard that reportedly stated, “Private, no driver's license or insurance required — no commerce — private mode of travel.” The Washington license plate that should have been on the vehicle expired in 2022. The driver, who must be under the impression they’re above the law, had no proof of insurance.

A woman allegedly locked in a building vestibule for more than an hour, kicked one of the glass doors, shattering it, and got out. An employee watched the incident unfold on security camera footage and wanted her banned from the building.

A woman allegedly sent $9,500 to a scammer who called claiming to be with the police department and said they had a warrant for her arrest.

A store customer allegedly fixated on a man carrying a sword that they couldn’t describe what he was wearing when dispatch asked them three times about it. They said he wasn’t threatening anyone and was standing around with three other transients.

A man, who reportedly showed up at his daughter’s school and wasn’t allowed to see her, thought it was an appropriate reaction to show up at a location where his ex was and yell, argue with and “chase” her because he was upset that she reportedly started enforcing a parenting plan. An employee told him to leave. She told police that she was looking to file a restraining order. Officers advised him to go through the courts to amend the parenting plan if frustrated.

Someone complained that South Meridian Street to Sixth Street West and on to the high school, was “awful” with a lot of speeders in the morning, during lunch and after school

A woman nodding off while she waited in her vehicle for curbside delivery concerned employees when they saw a knife in her lap and said she was “trying to get drugs out of something.”

A man in his 30s carrying a blue backpack and walking with a woman allegedly stole black colored shoes and an employee wanted officers to let him know he was banned from the store.
