Sandra McGrath, 73

Sandra Lee McGrath, 73 of Kalispell, was born to William and Ryleen Robison on Nov. 20, 1950, in Coffeeville, Kansas.  

At the age of five, the family moved to Newport, Washington, where she lived until after graduating from Newport High School. She moved to Kalispell in 1980 with her two daughters. In 1944 she married Dr. Paul McGrath. She worked for several years as a claims analyst for New West Health Insurance Company. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers, and two sisters.  

She is survived by her stepfather, of Chattaroy, Washington; as well as two daughters, Amy Marvin and Heather Larson, both of Spokane, Washington; two stepsons, Travis McGrath of Redmond, Washington; and Daniel McGrath of Richmond, Virginia; as well as one sister, four grandsons, three granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons.  

Sandie spent most of her free time knitting blankets for friends and relatives. Her other passions included cooking and her flower gardens. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Eagles. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
