B Hoops: Eureka has 2 boys picked All-State

The all-conference basketball teams for District 7-B have been released, and Eureka had two boys selected All-State for Class B.

Seniors Braden Casazza and Tristan Butts are both first-team all-District 7-B and All-State, along with Thompson Falls junior Bryson LeCoure.

They are joined on the first team by Mission sophomore Lex LaFrombois and Thompson Falls senior Darren Standeford.

Casazza and Butts helped the Lions go 18-5 and finish fourth at the Western B Divisional — one win from the State B tournament.

Mission had two girls selected All-State: sophomore Cora Matt and junior Kason Page. They are joined on the All-State team by Thompson Falls sophomore Gabi Hannum.

Like Eureka’s boys, the Mission Lady Bulldogs went 19-5 and finished fourth at the Western B.

Thompson Falls sophomore Solveig Nygaard is also on the all-District 7-B first team along with Eureka’s Kara Stanger and Dylan Sharp. Sharp is a senior and Stanger a junior.
