Eileen Ayres, 92

Eileen Ayres, our sister, mother, grandma, and great-grandma, left us on March 18, 2024, at the age of 92. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ayres; her sisters, Ardis, Betty, Naomi, and Karen; and her brothers, Ray, Neil, and Jim. 

She is survived by her sisters, Anita, Lois, Joyce, and Jeannie; her brothers, Jack and Wink; her son Rod Ayres, granddaughter Amryn and grandson Chris; her daughter Donna Holder and husband Ron, grandson Josh and wife Angela, granddaughter Jodi Masa and husband Andy, and great-grandsons Caden, Cole, Cooper, and Cage; her daughter Terrie Stoken and husband Pat, grandson Cory and wife Sarah, great-grandson Jett, and great-granddaughter Piper; grandson Casey, great-grandson Tavien, and great-granddaughter Tayne; and granddaughter Caley Kinyon and husband Jason, and great-grandson Jace. 

She is also survived by her "fitness family" at The Summit, with whom she shared and enjoyed countless early morning exercise and coffee sessions. 

Eileen was a strong, loving, and feisty woman. She reveled in her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She attended countless football and basketball games, wrestling and soccer matches, track and cross-country meets, dance recitals, orchestra, band and choir concerts, and school plays. She loved decorating her house for Christmas, setting up her Village and the beautifully decorated tree. She opened her heart for any and all who needed her. She was always there and will be sorely missed. 

As she requested, there will not be a memorial service. After cremation, her ashes will be spread with those of her late husband, John. If you want to do something in her memory, hug your family and friends and tell them you love them. That's what she would do.
