Easter egg hunts planned for the Flathead Valley
Easter weekend arrives March 30 and 31. Here are a few Easter hunts to hop on down to for an egg-cellent family outing.
• The annual Bigfork Easter Egg Hunt is March 30 at Bigfork Elementary School. The hunt starts at noon. Amongst the possible treasures will be the popular eggs with coins and the special chocolate bunnies. The Easter Bunny will be dropping by for photos.
This year’s hunt is co-sponsored by the Bigfork Masonic Lodge No. 150 and the Rotary Club of Bigfork.
• Easter Egg Eggstravaganza is March 30 at Lone Pine State Park, 300 Lone Pine Road, Kalispell. Hunt sessions at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. Registration required. Call 755-2706.
• The Living Church at Lakeside Easter Egg Hunt is March 30 from 1 - 3 p.m., 201 Bens Lane, Lakeside. Ages babies through fifth grade welcome.
• The Dayton Park 16th annual Easter Egg Hunt is March 30 at 11 a.m., Dayton Park. There will be grend prizes, games, drawings, money in the straw and an Easter Bonnet Contest.
• Kalispell Elks Lodge annual Easter egg hunt is March 31, 1 p.m. at Village Greens common area, 1956 Nicklaus, Kalispell. Open to the public and all ages are welcome.
• The annual Columbia Falls Lions Club Easter egg hunt is at 1 p.m. March 31 at Marantette Park. The event is open to youths up to age 12 and this year there will be a section for special needs children. There are prizes for each age group.
