Glacier boys sweep Helena schools

Sarah Downs and Robby Thornburg won both their singles matches Saturday, and Glacier’s boys really made hay in the doubles to sweep the Helena schools in Western AA tennis at FVCC.
The doubles tandems of Carl Bitney and Dalyn Mathison; Kevin Fortin and Jayce Isles and Jared Mathikson and Ethan Ronngren all won twice Saturday for the Wolfpack, which beat Helena Capital 7-1 and Helena High 6-2.
Glacier’s girls tied with Helena High 4-4 and beat Capital 7-1; besides Downs, they got two wins from the doubles teams of Maddie Davis and Quindy Gronley, plus Tyla Nelson and Emily Lister.
